Legacy Harmony
My husband and I recently made a commitment to digitize our family photographs. Six boxes filled with moments that hold our shared history. As I began the process, I found myself especially drawn to the pictures of my ancestors. Each image seemed to whisper a story, a memory, a presence.
Yesterday, I came across a photograph of my parents on their wedding day, radiant and full of promise. I took a picture of it on my phone to preserve it. When I looked at it again today to show a dear friend, something extraordinary happened. The image seemed alive. Delicate orbs of light appeared and began to shimmer, one by one, as if dancing across the photo.
The original picture had no orbs at all. But in that moment, the new image glowed with life, as if the veil between worlds had briefly thinned. I couldn’t help but feel that my ancestors were present, surrounding me, guiding me, maybe even celebrating with me as I honored the past and prepared to share Harmony with the world.
This experience reminded me that Harmony is not limited to what we can see or touch. It is the meeting place of energy, memory, and intention. By committing to this project of preserving our family history, I had opened a channel that allowed love and blessing to flow freely between generations.
As I looked again at my parents’ smiling faces, I realized how their union and love created the foundation for everything that came after, including me and the work I now share. Perhaps the orbs were their way of saying, We are here. We see you. We are proud of you.
The Harmony Path teaches us that when we act with love and awareness, the Universe responds. Our commitments can become sacred gateways. Through them, we honor those who came before us and invite them to walk beside us.
Today, I invite you to take a moment with your own family memories. Choose one photograph and gaze into it. Notice what you feel or remember. Perhaps you will sense something new, a quiet presence or a soft whisper of connection. Harmony lives in these moments, where the past and present meet in love.
